We received the sad news today that Fr. Tommy Murphy, former curate of St. James’s Church passed away peacefully in Tara Winthrop Private Clinic on June 6th, 2019. During his time here in St. James’, Fr. Tommy was known for his good humoured approach to life. He had a genuine love for the people here, which showed itself through his generosity and benevolence. He was never a man to turn down a cuppa and the chance to chat with his parishioners. May Fr. Tommy rest in peace
Fr. Tommy will be sadly missed by his sisters Breda and Patricia, brother John, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
